1. St. Gerasimos of Kefalonia

St. Gerasimos is the patron saint of Kefalonia, so the Monastery of St. Gerasimos is a sacred place for every citizen of Kefalonia. The relics of the Saint are kept in a glass case which is placed above the Saint’s tomb.

2. The land of Robola

Located 400m from the beautiful church of St. Gerasimos, the island’s Patron Saint, in the Omala valley, the winery of Robola welcomes visitors to taste the wines. Discover the stages of production and vinification and then have the opportunity to purchase wines at factory prices.

3. Drogarati Cave

Descend the steps of Drogarati cave and an atmospheric subterranean world awaits you. Feels like the river of time stops flowing here, in the depths of the Earth. Orange and yellow stalactites hang from the roof like curtains while vitreous stalagmites emerge to form spacious chambers.

4. Melissani Cave

The Cave of Melissani, a memorable sight that leaves one in awe. Its two chambers, one sun-lit and the other dark and ominous covered with stalagmites, algae and moss, create a unique and unforgettable picture.

5. Agia Efimia

Situated 7 km north of Sami on the east coast of Kefalonia and 30 kms from Argostoli, Agia Efimia is a picturesque fishing village with a well sheltered harbor. The village exudes an atmosphere of traditional Greek hospitality where visitors are welcomed back as friends.

6. Myrtos Beach

Deep turquoise blue waters embraced by white sand leading to dazzling white pebbles, in a long, long strip of dramatic beauty. Framed by tall, steep cliffs, will seduce your vision to the endless horizon. This is Myrtos!
